Cleaning is naturally wasteful, and technology like 6 mil nitrile gloves, textured for grip, or single-use supplies are necessary to keep our employees - and your home - safe.  As a small business, we learn the science behind our methods to build healthy habits as we grow, remaining continually conscientious of our waste contribution.

 

Safer products: We don't stock bleach, but our hospital-grade enzyme disinfectant will get the job done when it's called for. We opt for "safer choice" products and companies when we can, certified by the EPA.

Biodegradable and vegan: Developed by Dr. Bronner's, our multipurpose cleaner that comprises most of our standard cleans is biodegradable as well as Leaping Bunny and Vegan Action certified. The supplier that makes our trash bags are producers of biodegradable plastics, or bags made from recycled plastics.

Tree-Sustainable:  We look for paper towel manufacturers that are sealed by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.  Trees are the world's only renewable resource, so tree products are extremely environmentally friendly!  The key is in ensuring that forest management is healthy and regulated, reducing the effects on wildlife ecoystems.

 

Supply Chain:  We offer a lot of services, including decluttering by donating or re-purposing items that otherwise get thrown away. We opened a thrift-shop department after noticing that a huge source of waste is clothes, as many of our clients (and including us - don't judge!) have overflowing closets. Organize, declutter, and learn with us to keep cleaning more efficient. Recycling is fine, but reducing consumption on the front-end is the goal.
